SAN DIEGO COUNTY: High Speed Vehicle Pursuit w/knife 10/28/12

A driver is in custody after leading law enforcement on a wild chase down the freeway. It all started near mission road on I5 when the driver failed to stop, prompting a high-speed chase. The car continued down the 5 until it got to the 805. Spike strips were set up and were successful in stopping the speeding vehicle. Finally, the driver was aprehended at 30th street and Broadway in San Diego near the 94. The suspect did have a knife, so that was a brief concern for the first responders.
